The VoctFoundation is a cultural foundation in Kraków, established in 2026. Its resident ensemble is VoctEnsemble. The foundation brings artists, skills and funding together around a specific artistic idea, and the idea sets the project's form, its line-up and the way it is made.

A concert inspired by the Laudes creaturarum of St Francis of Assisi. The music leads from wonder at creation towards human experience: its fragility, its passing and its hope.

02VoctEnsemble's record

The VoctFoundation grows out of VoctEnsemble's experience.

Since January 2024 VoctEnsemble has been preparing its own Spiritual Concerts, which take up the French tradition of the Concerts Spirituels. Each programme is built from the beginning, for a specific place, together with artists, production professionals and institutions. The foundation, established in April 2026, gives this work a permanent base: it makes it possible to invite more artists and to build more complex productions.

I want to be there when particular things come into being.

VoctEnsemble is the foundation's resident ensemble (statute, § 6(3)). Donations are received and contracts signed by the foundation.

Statutory purposes

  1. Musical creation: production, co-production, organisation and presentation of projects at home and abroad.
  2. Heritage: documenting, archiving and sharing music and performance practice.
  3. Education and access: fostering culture and supporting participation in it.
  4. Young artists: development, promotion, mentoring, residencies and performance projects.
  5. Collaboration: working with artists, cultural institutions, universities, media and civil-society organisations.

The foundation's income is devoted entirely to its statutory purposes. It is not distributed among the founder, the members of its bodies, or persons connected with the foundation; any economic activity, if conducted, remains ancillary to the statutory mission.
